Plan a fun day at the club, volunteer to run games or serve food, and encourage your neighbors, friends, and families to visit us for WYC activities during our South Harbor’s 40th Anniversary Event.

NOTICE:  WYC parking lot shall be CLOSED to members on Friday, August 29 through Saturday, August 30 for use by the Port District and docking will be prohibited along the walls in the harbor for the safety of the water ski and jet ski teams.

During the general event, WYC will offer OPEN HOUSE self-guided tours and sell hot dogs, chili, warm beverages, and drinks at the bar. We are also the designated warming and changing station for participants in the Dunk Tank near the giant rubber duck, to avoid hypothermic incidents.

Kids Duck Games at WYC 11:30 – 3:30

We’ll start taking sign ups at 10:00 for the Swashbuckers during open house tours for the public.

• Ages 2 – 6  Duck Walk & Exchange Game – bring any duck to participate
• Ages 6 – 17  Swashbucklers: The Quackening… – we’re training for our new “Fencing” team…with Foam Swords

Roll Playing Game: Release the Quacken! 1:00pm Ages 20+ must preregister

Ski Show – rain or shine – best views of the 3:00 show are from WYC!

Place your picnic chairs on the dock outside WYC to watch the water ski and jet ski show or grab a member reserved table inside. From inside of the club, there is a unique opportunity to watch the skiers as they switch between stunts. The skiers will be utilizing the JuniorSAIL floating dock for their line up and drop off quick exchanges. Kids can stand on chairs lined up on the dining room South wall to look down from above to watch the action!

Lighted Boat Parade “Rubber Ducks”

Grab a refreshing beverage and watch the lighted boat parade from the dock outside WYC – judges will be observing from the WYC upper deck
