Welcome to the Waukegan Yacht Club

Thank you for visiting our site – freezing temperatures in Waukegan Harbor mean beautiful views, awesome storm views and sounds, and crazy fun small boat sailing – YES. It is true, “Frostbiting” is back at the Waukegan Yacht Club. There is great joy in this most uniquely entertaining harbor past time. The fleet is building fast and we are enjoying visits from the sail racers from other harbors who are already missing their competition fix!

The Waukegan Yacht Club features events, education, dining, entertainment, networking, and just plain fun for adults and families who have an interest in our harbor and the myriad of ways to enjoy it.

As our members plan for 2025, volunteers are taking on leadership for their favorite events to build a calendar of activities to delight our steadfast members, returning members, and 3 generations of new member families.
