Yesterday morning, the brainstorming began…
There are standard traditional events to start – the JuniorSAIL spaghetti dinner in the spring, the Blessing of the Fleet, the Chicago to Waukegan, and the Commodore’s Ball went onto idea cards first. Next up, what events did we used to hold that should come back and what new things could we add to the mix?
In a matter of minutes, we had sorted out into categories of activities and events laid out, as follows:
Big Events, New Events, Dining (plans by days of the week), Education, On the Water Events, Volunteering, and Community Events. Visit the club with our volunteer teams to check out the ideas posted on bulletin boards and to add your own!
